The Team are running to support the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign (MD) which is a collective name for over sixty conditions that have one thing in common, a progressive weakening and wasting of the body’s muscles.  Over 70,000 babies, children and adults in the UK have some form of Muscular Dystrophy.  One of the most common forms is Duchenne MD which affects boys from birth, confining them to a wheelchair at a very early age.
