Thank you to everyone who entered our recent competition to be in with a chance of winning the opportunity to have the very last hallmark struck on an item at Assay Office Birmingham’s historic Newhall Street home. Andrew Neilson from Gold Neilson has been picked to have the last ever item Laser marked at Newhall Street – Congratulations!

The British Jewellers’ Association (BJA) and the National Association of Goldsmiths (N.A.G.) Unification Working Party has today announced the appointment of the inaugural chief executive officer for the new organisation, the National Association of Jewellers (NAJ).

A great weekend of fun and entertainment was enjoyed by all who attended the first Jewellery Quarter Festival which was organised by JQBID. It was a pleasure to see so many different people taking part in the whole festival, well done to everyone who got involved!
