If so, one lucky customer can WIN the opportunity to have the VERY LAST hallmark EVER STRUCK on their item at Assay Office Birmingham’s HISTORIC Newhall Street home.

Assay Office Birmingham is moving from its home on Newhall Street to a brand new purpose built building on Moreton Street in Birmingham’s well known Jewellery Quarter.

Hundreds of millions of items have been hallmarked in the current building since it opened in 1878, with 110 million hallmarks struck by Assay Office Birmingham in the 21st Century alone.

So to enter the competition, e-mail gem@theassayoffice.co.uk saying ‘Yes I Have’ and if possible, please send us an image too. Entries will need to be arrive by 10:00am on Tuesday 21st July for your chance to win this unique opportunity.

If you are chosen please ensure that your item is with us for assay and hallmarking by Thursday 23^rd July. The last mark will be struck on Friday 24^th July 2015.
