Today at the Assay Office, we were overflowing with coffee and cake as staff got together to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. So far, we have raised over £65 pounds and we still have donations coming in!

The Freshers Event at Birmingham School of Jewellery proved to be a successful day all round for both the students and Assay Office Birmingham.

Assay Office Birmingham is looking forward to meeting the new students at Birmingham School of Jewellery on 23rd September, as we attend this year's Freshers Event. In previous year's, we have welcomed the new students and explained how the hallmarking system works in the UK.  The Students can then come down to the Assay Office - just a short walk from the school and sign up for their own unique Sponsor Mark.
