Today at the Assay Office, we were overflowing with coffee and cake as staff got together to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

This is one of many coffee mornings taking place this week around the Jewellery Quarter. All businesses will be putting their donations together to try to raise a grand total of £10,000 pounds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

So far, we have raised over £65 pounds and we still have donations coming in!

This year, the JQDT have set up a Jewellery Quarter JustGiving page for the coffee morning, where anyone can donate with a quick click of their mouse. You can also donate to the page on-the-go through your phone by texting “JQDT53” and your donation to 70070 (don’t worry, it’s free!). Your donation will go straight to Macmillan and be added to the grand total raised by the Jewellery Quarter through this event.
