The Birmingham Assay Office, AnchorCert Gem Lab, SafeGuard Jewellery Valuations and the Analytical Laboratory have been getting ready for the Jewellery & Watch Show at the NEC, Birmingham for months and at long last the final preparations are under way as the show starts tomorrow - SUNDAY 2nd February.  We will be able to meet up with customers and colleagues as well as make lots of new friends during the 5 day exhibition. Start up Britain drew on last year’s Companies House data to assess where new companies were started across the UK. Birmingham led the table outside of London with 16,281 companies registered. This compared to Manchester who in second place, saw 4,515 less businesses being traded with 11,765 start ups and Glasgow who saw 8,085 new companies launch in the city.
