Assay Office Birmingham is a hive of activity this morning as final preparations are under way for outgoing CE & Assay Master Michael Allchin's last presentation to the Guardians and Wardens at today's Interim AGM. Following the Interim AGM the Assay Office will be presenting Michael with retirement gifts and in the early evening Michael will be toasting his time with the Assay Office and his long illustrious career in this wonderful industry…
