The Watchdog Daily team recently ventured to the Birmingham Assay Office, with a cohort of Birmingham Trading Standards officers, to document the progress of seized, wrongly hallmarked goods. NEW FOR 2013 - Introduction to Touch Acid Testing In response to customer enquiries the Assay Office has launched a new, half-day practical training course aimed at people with little or no experience of the method.
