This week at Assay Office Birmingham, we have a jam-packed schedule full of courses and jewellery valuation events and general public visits to our private silver collection!
Education and Training Courses
We started the week with an Understanding Jewellery Valuations course which was very well received by all the attendees.  The course provides delegates with confidence, knowledge and an understanding of the methodology and many different approaches required to produce a fair jewellery valuation, appropriate to its intended use.
Tuesday sees our ever popular Understanding Diamonds course, which is a hands on one-day course intended for staff who already have some experience of selling jewellery and precious stones. Â The course further develops the delegates understanding and confidence when selling diamonds to customers. Â The next courses take place on 15 July, 23 Sept, 21 Oct and the last one of the year is on 18 November.
VIP Jewellery, Watch & Silverware Valuation Day
As if that was not enough, on Tuesday we also have our in-house Jewellery, Watch & Silverware Valuation Day taking place as well. This is extremely popular with customers who require insurance valuations for their precious possessions such as rings, watches, necklaces, bangles, and silverware.  There are still places available.  Call 0121 262 1024 to book an appointment.  This is a chargeable service.
The next jewellery valuation days at Assay Office Birmingham are: 29 July, 26 Aug, 30 Sep, 28 Oct, 25 Nov, 16 Dec. Â There is also a valuation day in Hatton Garden on 15th July.
