The 2014 date letter âPâ is now available to be struck or lasered onto products being tested and hallmarked by the UK Assay Offices.
The team of qualified engineers in the Tool room at The Birmingham Assay Office have been busy cutting the new date letter punches in time for the changeover from âOâ to âPâ on 1st January 2014.Â
The team utilizes the latest cutting edge technology to create the highest quality hallmarking punches needed to produce a perfect hallmark. The date letter, which is an optional mark, can be requested to be applied to any article which is submitted for statutory hallmarking.
