If you have been out and about in the Jewellery Quarter over the last week, you may have noticed the Christmas lights are now up and The Birmingham Assay Office is delighted to be surrounded by a couple of Anchors! Many thanks to the Jewellery Quarter BID and the Jewellery Quarter Marketing Initiative (JQMI) team for the excellent strategically placed Christmas lights!

 

This year there are 71 lights – 25 more than last year – which are a mix of refurbished and new, bespoke designs. There are Christmas trees, stars and baubles across the Quarter, new jewellery-themed designs in the main retail area and an anchor light proudly shines outside of The Assay Office on Newhall Street. Christmas lights can be found on: Newhall Street, Ludgate Hill, Caroline Street, Summer Row, Fleet Street, Parade, Sandpits, Newhall Hill, Frederick Street, Vyse Street, Hockley Street, Hall Street and Warstone Lane.
