If you would like to come and see the private silver collection at The Birmingham Assay Office there are now only a dozen places left on the afternoon session of Thursday 26th September.

Usually these visits are only available to organised groups, so this is a unique opportunity to see the spectacular Silver Collection, the Library, and to hear about the history of hallmarking and The Birmingham Assay Office. Visitors will be met with a warm welcome, including coffee and biscuits before the visit, and afterwards, in the Gift Shop, they will be able to buy gifts such as books and silver items all made in Birminghamâs Jewellery Quarter and hallmarked at The Birmingham Assay Office.Â There are lots of Gift ideas for that someone specialâ¦.. The Silver Collection Visit will take place on Â Thursday 26^th September and theÂ afternoon session will start at 2.00pm. Early booking is advised as there are only a dozen places left for this year.

The next open sessions for the General Public to visit the private silver collection will be in 2014. Â They will take place on Monday 24th February, Monday 28th April and Thursday 26th June.
