EXPERT ANALYSIS ACROSS A RANGE OF SECTORS

Martin Lane, Designer and maker of fine commissioned furniture

received a Guild Mark Award from The Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers who considered his "Collector's Cabinet" to be exceptional in both design and Craftsmanship. The Birmingham Assay Office worked closely with Martin, who is based in Badmington, Gloucestershire on the Collector's Cabinet sterling silver name plate. Martins' details and drawing number along with his own Makers Mark (MKL) the world famous Anchor mark (the symbol of The Birmingham Assay Office), the sterling silver mark and the special commemorative Queens Diamond jubilee mark where stamped on the plaque by the Assay Office. This beautiful name plaque finished an exquisite piece of furniture that truly resembles a work of art.
