Following the death in March of Bernard Ward, former Assay Master, The Birmingham Assay Office will be holding a Memorial Service to remember Bernard at 1.00 p.m. on Tuesday 9th July 2013 at St Paul’s Church, St Paul’s Square, Birmingham. Bernard will be fondly remembered for many years to come not only by his friends and colleagues at The Birmingham Assay Office but by the whole of the UK jewellery and precious metals industries.  The Service will enable everyone to pay tribute to a man who achieved so much during his working life within the jewellery industry. Full details about the Service will be announced in due course, so for now, please keep the date free in your diary.
