you can have a go at hallmarking with expert Birmingham Assay Office hallmarker Faye Grove and unlock the secrets of the hallmarking code!

Visitors to Thinktank this half term will be able to make rubber ducks, stamp pennies, photograph themselves in an array of crowns and jewellery and enjoy many other interactive exhibits in the new We Made It gallery. The new development takes visitors on a journey from raw materials to finished products and highlights the heritage and science of manufacturing and materials in the region. The museumâs Science Garden will also be reopened after its winter hibernation, bringing themes of engineering, mechanics and transportation to life through three fun zones and 42 hands-on exhibits.
