Remember that the 2013 date letter is available to be applied to gold, silver, platinum and palladium items when submitted for hallmarking.Â
Although it is no longer part of the compulsory hallmark, the date letter is still widely requested and adds provenance to precious metal articles which will benefit future generations when dating pieces of jewellery or silverware.  This yearsâ date letter is âOââ¦. for optimism and opportunity!
Letâs hope that 2013 represents an optimistic New Year full of unlimited opportunities for everybody in the jewellery and silverware industries.
