Start the New Year by taking a refreshing look at your marketing! The British Jewellers' Association can offer up to 30 West Midland based companies* FREE training in January via a Birmingham City Council funded Business Assists programme. Dates for the full day seminar are the 8
th and 31st January 2013 and are limited to 15 per day so register your interest today!
 Below is a brief summary of  the training plan:
Business Assists Programme

Hour 1Â
-To individually assess each companyâs business structure, capabilities and objectives. At the end of this session to individually set measurable targets that the full assists programme will help deliver. To identify the marketing and sales direction that the individual company wants to take and to tailor the assists accordingly (ie: to differentiate between those that want to sell directly to the consumer or those that want to sell only to the trade â or a combination of both)

     Hours 2 â 10
Working in groups of 15, an intensive day of professional coaching in the areas of:
- Marketing strategy â what is it, how to implement it and how to measure results.
- Â The 5 Pâs â price, promotion, place, product and profit.
- Selling techniquesâ to include understanding what the customer wants to buy, how to detect buying signals, how to generate repeat sales.
·        Hours 11-12
 - Individual mentoring to monitor progress and to work to achieve agreed measurable targets (as identified in hour 1).
The BJA will be holding the professional coaching element of the training on January 8th or 31st in the Jewelley Quarter Birmingham.
