Our popular Buying Scrap Gold and Silver course has recently been expanded to include a section on the new Gold Standard – a voluntary code of practice for all those engaged in buying scrap gold and silver. The Standard is a joint initiative between the British Jewellers’ Association (BJA), the Association of Chief Police Officers, Trading Standards Institute, the National Measurement Office, the National Association of Goldsmiths (NAG), and the National Pawnbrokers Association (NPA).
