EXPERT ANALYSIS ACROSS A RANGE OF SECTORS

Natalie Baxter is a BA Design for Industry student at The Birmingham School of Jewellery and was the recipient of the 2012 Birmingham Assay Office Award which she received at the Industry Evening Prize Giving at the School on 12th June. Patrick Fuller, Chairman of WB The Creative Jewellery Group and a Warden of The Birmingham Assay Office gave an inspirational, insightful and thought provoking key note speech during the evening which was attended by students, staff at the School of Jewellery and members of the industry. Marie Brennan who judged the student’s work on behalf of The Birmingham Assay Office said she was wowed by Natalie’s stunning ‘Entwined in Lace’ collection of 18ct gold pendants set with yellow, pink and blue sapphires and her sterling silver head piece, an elegant statement piece for any bride.
