  International Jewellery London 2-5 September 2012 The Birmingham Assay Office are once again facilitating the Great Debate in partnership with Reed Exhibitions. Now in its sixth year this initiative aims to provoke thought and prompt action in relation to ethical and humanitarian issues in the global Jewellery industry. The theme in 2012 is “Making  a Difference” and the headline speaker will be Steve Bennett, who will introduce successful projects funded by The Genuine Gemstone Company, formerly Gems TV,  The Debate, facilitated by Michael Allchin, Chief Executive of The Birmingham Assay Office, will also include other practitioners who are making a difference in their own way.
