EXPERT ANALYSIS ACROSS A RANGE OF SECTORS

As the Coronavirus continues to spread, the Birmingham Assay Office wishes to provide you with an update on its business continuity plans in light of the current pandemic.

First and foremost, we are continuing to follow Government advice and we are doing all that we can to safeguard our employees, our customers and suppliers.

As we currently stand, it is business as usual at the Birmingham Assay Office, and we plan to continue to trade unless Government policy forces a closure.

Normal turnaround times for all services remain un-changed at present, but we may have to increase our lead times in the event of staff shortages, as a result of the pandemic. We will continue to explore all reasonable and safe means to maintain service levels. We will, of course, continue to keep you informed of any changes which may impact service delivery.

We will be following the advice of the World Health Organisation with regards to receiving cash payments at our customer service counter and will inform you of any developments.

We appreciate your support and understanding during these unusual times.
