EXPERT ANALYSIS ACROSS A RANGE OF SECTORS

Assay Office Birmingham’s AnchorCert Academy has unveiled brand new courses for 2016 to meet the changing needs and challenges of the UK jewellery industry.

Booking is now open for its new ‘Exposed’ range of hands-on, one-day courses, which tackle big industry challenges while meeting the needs of delegates working within jewellery and watch retail, sales and appraisals.

Among the topical new courses on offer are a Diamond Simulants, Synthetics and Treatments course led by Claire Connelly, a highly experienced diamond buyer and seller and former member of London Diamond Bourse.

This is supported by a Coloured Gemstones and Treatments courses, delivered by Gwyn Green, a tutor, expert and collector of coloured gemstones, who illustrates her courses with typical examples to bring gemstone issues to life for delegates.

Watch retailers and traders can swiftly bring their knowledge up-to-date with the new Counterfeit and Customised Watches course, led by watch specialists from Fellows Auctioneers with first-hand experience of the current trends in counterfeiting, customising and hybrid watches.

AnchorCert Academy’s Exposed courses complement its established range of ‘Understanding Courses’, bolstering its educational offer and placing AnchorCert Academy at forefront of contemporary jewellery industry education.

Visitors to Jewellery & Watch Birmingham can find out more about the courses and book a place at the AnchorCert Academy stand, Hall 17 P50.
