Assay Office Birmingham has compiled the latest UK Hallmarking figures for the month of August 2015.
Please find the figures listed below:
Another difficult month for hallmarking numbers with the total number of articles hallmarked across all four Assay Offices down 12.4% in August compared to the same month in 2014.
Gold articles hallmarked were down 8.5% whilst Silver was down 17.0%, both mirroring a very similar position in the month of July. However Platinum articles were up 3.1% and Palladium up 14.9%.
