Assay Office Birmingham has compiled the latest UK Hallmarking figures for the month of June 2015 and Quarter 2.
Please find the figures listed below:
The total number of articles hallmarked by the UK Assay Offices in June 2015 was up by 94,023 articles compared to the same month in 2014; an overall increase of 12.3%.
The total number of gold articles hallmarked were up 15.4%, Silver articles hallmarked were up 10.3% and Platinum up 16.1%. Palladium numbers were down by 23.8%.
The hallmarking statistics for the second quarter of 2015 ending 30th June showed an overall growth in total number of articles hallmarked of 8.5%.
