Thanks Becca for the information
Well hello – the spring has melted away already in the face of this summer heat and I hope that you’re managing to stay cool! I’ve attended some wonderful shows this spring, met some great new customers and loved taking my new collection of little birds out on the road.
Now I'm back in the workshop and looking forward to the very first Jewellery Quarter Festival which will be taking place in and around the brand new Golden Square development in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter.
There’ll be food stalls, live music and an Open Studio Trail that will give you hidden glimpses into the working world of the area – from a look around the Two Towers Brewery to access to local jewellers studios.
My bright new workshop will be open for the first time for you to explore how my pieces are made and to view my new Riverside Collection, laid out in the place that it was created:
The workshops on the Trail will be open:
10.30am – 5pm on Saturday 18th
11am – 4pm on Sunday 19th
You’ll find me at 31 Hylton Street, just around the corner from the Jewellery Quarter train station and the Hyton Café:
It’s worth noting that my workshop is at the top of two very steep sets of stairs, so it may not be accessible to everyone but there's a comfy sofa at the top to have a rest on, once you've made the climb!
I look forward to welcoming you.
Assay Office Birmingham supports the festival and the Open Studios and is looking forward to the event with great anticipation!
