EXPERT ANALYSIS ACROSS A RANGE OF SECTORS

Assay Office Birmfingham is looking forward to welcoming 20 lucky participants on the Hidden Spaces tour around its current historic home on Tuesday 2nd June.

The tour will provide visitors with an intimate look around one of the cities most historically important buildings.

The tour will include:

  • DVD to show what is going on in the Jewellery Quarter at the moment, in terms of manufacture, and a resume of the work of the Assay Office.
  • Talk on the history of the Assay Office and the building. Also images of the new Assay Office.
  • Tour of the private Silver Collection and the surrounding rooms on the main staircase, which include the Library, Wardens Sitting Room and Dining Room and the original lavatory.
  • A glimpse inside the Hallmarking floor.

For an extra special treat, visitors will also have a guided tour outside of the building (let's hope it doesn't rain on their parade!).
