Birmingham Tours provides private guided driving tours for groups all year round. The guided Birmingham bus tours can be on the Big Brum Open Top Buz with a capacity of 75 people, a covered double decker or your own coach.
Brum bus tours are conducted by qualified Heart of England Blue Badge guides so that you have the most informative, enjoyable and entertaining experience. The tours usually last approximately one and a half to two hours but we are totally flexible in terms of timing and starting point so that we fit in with your itinerary. Minimum numbers and minimum charges apply.
The live guided tour is the only introduction to the global city with a local heart – Birmingham uncovered. Discover the commercial heart, the unique Jewellery Quarter, the Golden Mile with the Golden Boys! leafy Edgbaston picking up the Tolkien trail and the East Side Extravaganza.
The Birmingham Sightseeing Tour begins in the commercial heart of the city at the end of Colmore Row, Victoria Square and includes the major buildings of architectural interest including St Philip’s and St Chad’s Cathedrals, the Victoria Law Courts, the Town Hall, the Council House, Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery and Library.
The route takes you to the unique Jewellery Quarter which really emphasises why Birmingham was known as the city of a thousand trades in Victorian times. Travelling along Broad Street – the Golden Mile with the Golden Boys! looking at some of the more recent developments in the last 20 years such as the ICC, Symphony Hall and the National Indoor Arena we move into leafy Edgbaston – home to the manufacturers of the city and the international cricket ground.
Linking up with the Tolkien trail and the world famous Cardinal Newman Oratory we finally enter the city through the East side Extravaganza so that we get the full panoramic view of St Martin’s Parish Church and the new state of the art Bullring shopping complex with the iconic building of Selfridges.
