TONI COLLINS - 25 YEARS Congratulations to Toni Collins, pictured below at her desk in the Accounts Department at The Birmingham Assay Office, on completing 25 sterling years of hard work and dedication at the office. [caption id="attachment_1121" align="alignnone" width="300" caption="Toni Collins"][/caption] It was in 1986, at the age of 16, that Toni began her career with the office working initially in the preparation & despatch department with Dave Logan and his team and subsequently moving on to the Accounts department where Toni looks after credit control. Toni said "I have loved every minute of the last 25 years and look forward to the next 25!" ITRODUCING JACK TIMOTHY SMITH Tim Smith, Account Manager for the Laboratory and his wife Lorraine are now proud parents to Jack Timothy Smith who was born 19th December weighing 6lbs 1/2oz. CONGRATULATIONS TO MANPREET Manpreet Jeerh, a member of the Preparation & Despatch department gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Ryan, on 28th August 2011. Manpreet & Ryan, who weighed in at 8 and a half pounds, are pictured above. ASSAY OFFICE SOCIAL CLUB XMAS OUTING Members of The Birmingham Assay Office's Social Club enjoyed an evening of festive fun at the Black Country Living Museum on 16th December 2011. They enjoyed traditional Christmas entertainment including carol singing, street entertainers, brass bands and sing alongs in the inn! PENSIONERS' CHRISTMAS LUNCH The traditional annual Christmas lunch for former employees of The Birmingham Assay Office, who have now retired, was held at the office on 20th December 2011. The pensioners' lunch, which has become an established annual event, was well supported with nearly 40 pensioners attending this year to partake in some festive cheer.
