Â
With precious metal prices continuing at an all time high, the latest course which has been added to The Birmingham Assay Officeâs established Education & Training Programme is âBuying Scrap Gold and Silverâ. This course has proved hugely successful not just with businesses currently operating in the market, but also with business entrepreneurs who are looking to enter it.Â
Simon Hammond, one of the delegates who attended the first course which was delivered on 1st December, is doing just that. Having decided to switch careers from running care homes into pawnbroking, Simon turned to the expertise of The Birmingham Assay Office and attended this course which he said âhas been invaluable and exceeded my expectations in terms of the content of the day, but also the level of specialist expertise amongst those involved in delivering the course.â
