EXPERT ANALYSIS ACROSS A RANGE OF SECTORS

Supervised by Rose Nightingale and Julie Burns, this 19 people strong team are responsible for applying hallmarks by both press and hand to the wide variety of gold, silver, platinum and palladium items which are presented for hallmarking every day. Between them they have over 286 years experience in applying hallmarks from the smallest intricate pieces, right the way through to football trophies! The team have seen the introduction of new technology for hallmarking such as hydraulic presses suitable for hallmarking finished and highly polished rings whilst still maintaining within their skill set the traditional method of applying hallmarks by hand.
