The Assay Office Experience This half-day event provides a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes of the Hallmarking floor, which is not open to the general public and visit the historic surroundings of Assay Office Birmingham for one of the last times ahead of our new building opening next year. The event is ideal for those working in the jewellery or precious metal trades, collectors, and members of the public who would like to learn more about Hallmarking, including the history of Hallmarking in the UK and current legislation. The event provides three hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activity.
